I was in town for Thanksgiving and I was able to get a same day appointment with Dr. Khanna. Her nurse, Arlene, was warm and welcoming and made me feel comfortable immediately. Dr. Khanna was incredibly knowledgeable and professional and did everything she could to assess my condition and help me. I would highly recommend her to anyone who has retinal issues!

I can't believe that it has taken me this long to write a review for Dr. Michael Blair. He is just fantastic. The care and attention he provided my husband during three different retinal surgeries was excellent. We are so thankful for everything he has done.

Dr. John Galasso is the most amazing Doctor. He saved my vision, not once but twice! I wish more physicians were as brilliant, knowledgeable & skilled as Dr. Galasso. I trust him like no other Dr. and as busy as he is, he always has time to answer questions & celebrate your vision successes with you. Not a single Dr. like this anywhere!

I originally came to Retina Consultants, Ltd. seeking a second opinion for a macular hole in my eye. I was assigned to Dr. Maria Fernandez based on availability but couldn't have been more blessed to have met such a remarkable doctor. Compared to my previous physician, she is a breath of fresh air. She has a very comfortable demeanor with her patients; shares information about their condition with them; and allows them to actively participate in deciding their course of treatment.
Dr. Fernandez has a very strong educational and practice background and is really an asset to the Retina Consultants practice. As I said before, I really feel blessed to have met this doctor and, as a result of my good experience with her, I decided to formally leave my previous doctor and make Dr. Fernandez and Retina Consultants my permanent Retina specialists.

Dr Blair is an excellent doctor he has been seeing my son for 8 years till now. My son eyes have recovered by god's grace and Dr Blair efforts. I cannot thank you enough Dr Blair.

My grandson 7 years old was referred to Dr Shapiro after his highly competent opthalmologist in Indianapolis felt his condition was more than could be handled in Indiana. The first appointment Ian saw Dr Shapiro established the care he would go on to receive going forward. After an exam of Ian, Dr Shapiro stated he needed to let his next appointment know that they were going to have to wait a bit for their appointment, that there was a young man who needed his attention for longer than he had allowed for. I truly believe that Dr Shapiro saved Ian's eye sight. Ian is now 21, if he ever needed a retina specialist again, it is Dr Shapiro we would call.

Dr. Shapiro has been a blessing to my sister. He deals so well with her dementia and he has eliminated the pain that she so often had with her previous doctor. God bless you for accepting Medicaid!

Dr. Leishman is knowledgeable, curteous and very informative in explaining procedures. Also, she is remarkably on-time with her appointments.

I was referred to Retina Consultants 8 years ago when my retina detached. It was an HMO referral. I was extremely nervous as there was a huse probability that I would lose the sight in my eye. The retina was almost completely blocked. My career as an Accounting Controller would be impossible to perform with the loss of sight in one eye. Dr. Shapiro was kind, sympathethic to my anxiety, and he and his team quickly dissipated my fears. They scheduled an immediate surgery the following day, and I am happy to say that due to their excellent care and follow-up visits, I have 100% of my sight restored. And I did not experience a retinal detachment in the other eye. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Shapiro and to his excellent team.

I was very nervous about my visit. From the moment I walked in the office my fears went away. Very warm atmosphere. The Receptionist was kind. Dr. Leishman assistant was Very polite and absolutely helpful. I had the best experience with Dr. Leishman. I was at ease despite the outcome of the visit today. Everything was explained to me in a way that I understood. The Dr. was very patient & answered all of my questions & concerns. I would highly recommend this practice.
