In addition to offering plaque brachytherapy for the treatment of intraocular melanoma, Retina Consultants is pleased to be part of a coordinated multi-center, multi-disciplinary effort to treat patients with certain types of intraocular tumors with proton beam radiation.
In coordination with ProCure, we are able to offer proton beam radiation therapy for the treatment of intraocular tumors, including melanoma. Proton beam radiation therapy for intraocular tumors is currently available in a few select cities in the United States. We are pleased to be able to offer this new treatment modality for our patients.
